Tangier 1680 — Rollerball Pen
The Tangier 1680 rollerball shares the same seventeen-part construction and materials as the fountain pen, engineered to identical tolerances.
Stainless steel and hand-polished PMMA combine to form a body that feels resilient but never heavy. Internal anodised-aluminium sleeves reinforce the structure, adding strength without bulk.
Fitted with a precision Schmidt 5888 M ceramic refill, the rollerball writes cleanly and evenly from the first stroke — smooth, quick, and dependable.
Inside the base, a hidden screw mechanism allows the refill length to be adjusted using the supplied screwdriver. This system accepts most major refill types, accommodating lengths from 98 mm to 111 mm and up to 6 mm in diameter.
Hopefully, it ensures writers can use their preferred cartridge while maintaining perfect alignment and balance.
