The Namur Ebonite is shaped from Cinder Red ebonite - a traditional material with a wonderfully warm, soft feel in the hand and a subtle grain that makes each pen slightly different.

Its clean, Japanese-inspired form is deliberately understated. Carefully considered proportions and internal stainless-steel components give the pen its balance, creating a substantial No. 6 fountain pen that remains comfortable and effortless to write with.

The gold-plated steel grip carries an engraved geometric pattern with a story of its own. Namur takes its name from the Belgian city whose celebrated fortifications were extensively remodelled by Vauban in the late seventeenth century. Their distinctive geometry provided the starting point for the pattern.

Inside the cap, a discreet capillary insert helps manage excess ink through the knocks and changes in pressure of everyday life - whether carried in a pocket or at altitude.
